Kingskerswell Public Hall

Originally formed in 1923, Kingskerswell Public Hall is the oldest hall in Kingskerswell. The only hall on the Newton Abbot to Torquay side of the main road, it is conveniently situated next  to the No 12 bus stop. There are 2 rooms on site. The main hall, which is visible from the road, is licensed for 116 people. Various organisations use this room. They vary from a:

• Pre School, Before & After School Clubs, Pilates, Tai Chi, Square Dancing, Toddler Group, R.A.O.B. Clubs.

The lower hall, (The Raymont Room) is more suited to smaller meetings and can easily hold 30 persons.  An ideal room for NVQ, First Aid, Food Hygiene courses. Access is gained to the side of the hall and the Raymont Room has its own entrance, tea & coffee making facilities, toilets.

 

The main hall is available for hire on a Saturday. Many succesful childrens birthday parties are held here. Why bother with mess at home! Children love the huge amount of space, loads of room to run around. Themed parties such as Pirates, Fairies, Halloween ect have been held. Entertainers, Magicians, D.J's find the main hall easily accessible from the car park. The main room is  large enough to hold a Bouncy Castle.

 

Band Practice is welcolmed.
